Birthing (y)our Wholeness — literally not metaphorically

Our personal stories of transformation weave the fabric of the emerging new story of humanity. The more we create spaces for listening to what is emerging in and between us, the more we can make sense of who we are becoming, individually and collectively. Our “collective birth” of the new story requires us to let go of old certainties and to relearn our lost abilities of listening and sensing the “whole”. By paying attention to how we pay attention and how we listen we are weaving the container, the womb, the birthing place for our transformation, individually and collectively. Women’s voices and the voice of the feminine life-giving power in men and women are needed now as an essential element for moving us towards wholeness. Birth is no longer a metaphor — the earth has called us, men and women, to labour with her.

For too long our stories of what is going on inside of us have been locked up in therapy rooms. We are now discovering that nothing is wrong with us, that all is right with us and that trying to escape human suffering creates more of it.

Our fragmented minds have created a fragmented world. We live at razor’s edge and we are now more than ever able to choose where we put our attention and energy. We are able to choose to get real, to heal and become whole. Our gifts are found in our stories and our stories are our gift to each other.
